Sept. 8, 2020 (Paso Robles, Calif.) – Canossa Events, Europe’s preeminent luxury touring program for auto enthusiasts, is pleased to announce it is now accepting reservations for its Grand Tour California – Paso Robles, which officially revs up Sept. 24.
Limited to twenty guests and/or ten cars, the bespoke harvest tours will take place weekly through autumn, and feature awe-inspiring drives and exclusive experiences along Highway 1 and Paso Robles wine country, which the New York Times has named a must-visit in 2020.
Just thirty minutes from coastal Highway 1, and set among the rolling foothills of the Santa Lucia Coastal Mountains, Paso Robles is where the luxurious world of wine meets California cowboy culture. Guests will enjoy a private, insider’s guide to Paso Robles’ secluded vineyard drives, its most exclusive wineries and winemakers, and its elevated farm-to-fork cuisine.
Select tours will culminate with a cruise up Highway 1 to the Weathertech Laguna Seca Raceway, where guests will be able to privately drive the famed raceway circuit and proving ground.
“We have longed to bring Canossa’s version of la dolce vita to California,” says Canossa’s Founder, Luigi Orlandini. “With Canossa Grand Tour California – Paso Robles, we will safely celebrate the freedom to drive, indulge in culinary delights, and soak in the beautiful sceneries amongst old and new friends.”
The Canossa staff is prepared to welcome guests with the usual smile, even if hidden by the mask, and will provide all necessary protective gear. All operators involved in the tour comply with safety regulations and will ensure that necessary safety protocols and physical distancing does not prevent us from sharing our common passion. Guests will drive their own car, classic and Italian cars encouraged, or opt to lease a collector car through Canossa’s partnership with Monterey Touring Vehicles.
Canossa Events began in Emilia Romagna, Italy’s culinary and automotive epicenter – and home to Europe’s most awe-inspiring drives. Known as Food Valley, the region is home to Parmigiano Reggiano, Parma Prosciutto and Modena Balsamic Vinegar, among other delicacies. Emilia Romagna is also referred to as the Motor Valley, thanks to its illustrious supercar and motorbike houses, such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Pagani, Dallara and Ducati. Canossa expanded to North America in 2019.
Similar to Canossa’s longstanding touring series program in Italy’s Motor Valley, there will be two tiers to the California tours: rolling admission tours and private tours. Rolling admission tours are open to the general public. The first tour available to the public will be September 24-27. The private tours, which are ideal for motor clubs and corporate escapes, are available this autumn by appointment.
