Sustainability

Committed to improve people’s future.

To make sure we can enjoy life in the years to come, we must love our planet, our heritage, our brothers and sisters on Earth.

Which is why we allocate all the resources we possibly can to create more sustainable events.

We constantly strive to uphold to all the most up-to-date standards of sustainability for all our events.

Having been awarded the ISO Certification 14064, we have since long been operating under the “Carbon Zero” protocol guidelines, aimed at reducing our environmental footprint.

In order to maintain its high environmental standards, Canossa successfully gained the UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015 Certification.

The internationally-recognized Certification provides a management framework for the integration of environmentally-conscious practices, with an overall goal of protecting the environment, preventing pollution and reducing energy and resources consumption.

Through this Certification, Canossa demonstrates its effort to the betterment of its sustainable practices and, overall, to maintain a conscious and up-to-date eye to environmental policies at large.

For our planet

for our heritage

From the very beginning, we have tried to help preserve the centuries-old heritage of our home country.

We are proud to have supported a number of historic buildings, from the Sacro Convento di San Francesco in Assisi to the Cathedral of Orvieto and from the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore to the restoration of Antenore’s tomb in Padova…

We are very lucky to lead this life, and we never forget those who are less fortunate. That’s why we have a long association with the Panathlon Club of Modena, sponsoring a project that gives disabled people access to sports.

We fund a range of other projects, most of which are aimed at disadvantaged children.

As well as our ongoing projects, we are also proud to step in when people are in need. Canossa was only in its infancy in 2012, but the company donated all its income to help rebuild some of the houses destroyed in the earthquake that rocked Emilia.

Then, during the Covid-19 pandemic, we were pleased to be able to help our local hospital acquire much-needed protective equipment.
