The Dolomites Grand Tour 2024

Star Chefs Paolo Donei, Norbert Niederkofler and Gianluca Pittigher, winners at “The Dolomites Grand Tour” by Canossa.

July 12, 2024: After enjoying the fantastic roads of the passes in the Dolomites, participants of The Dolomites Grand Tour, from all over Europe, the USA, and Asia, along with their sports cars, were awarded a series of gastronomic events with famous chefs from the area. Between the 5th and the 7th of June, they crossed through spectacular scenery featuring mainly Ferrari, along with Porsche, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, and BMW: ranging from 1958 models to current ones.

The weekend kicked off with the sophisticated cuisine of the Malga Panna prepared by Chef Paolo Donei; then participants sampled the delights of the Rifugio In Alto, prepared by Chef Gianluca Pittigher. Finally they experienced an array of dishes from the Atelier Moessmer, a project by the Chef Norbert Niederkofler. All in the name of star-quality cuisine but not only: “The Dolomites Grand Tour” attracts more and more international participants every year, all eager to cross breathtaking scenery that is home to a national park, nine nature parks, and the largest ski area in Italy the Dolomiti Superski. Enough to make the Dolomites a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Once more Italy was able to quite simply exceed even the highest expectations of these automobile enthusiasts.

Without a doubt the Chefs were the real winners of this much awaited and exclusive event. The thrill of driving along famous roads in the Italian Dolomites, the luxury and peacefulness of Brunico on a wonderful journey designed to explore nature behind the wheel, while indulging in an explosion of flavours: the inevitable steps along the way included the Passo delle Erbe, Tre Croci, Giau, San Pellegrino, Sella, Gardena, Furcia and other fantastic places such as Cortina D’Ampezzo, Lake Misurina, Lake Carezza, and the Drei Zinnen – Three Peaks of Lavaredo.

For The Dolomites Grand Tour 2024, Canossa renews its commitment to support environmental sustainability. Through a strict calculation protocol, we have calculated the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions produced during the race, purchasing carbon credits to offset these emissions.
