The employee’s donation to assist the Ukrainian refugees has been handed over to the Italian Red Cross

May 16, 2022: At Casa Canossa a check in support of the management of the Ukrainian refugees has been handed over to the Italian Red Cross in Rome.

Through the payroll giving initiative, each employee was able to donate an hour, a day or even a week of their monthly pay, withheld from the paycheck. Canossa, with the clear desire to show its help, doubled the total amount collected by the employees.

For the occasion, Daniele Cristofori, President of the Red Cross of Quattro Castella, was welcomed by the Canossa team at the headquarter to symbolically collect the donation and represent the Italian institution.

The company warmly thanks the whole team for their joint effort and contribution to the initiative. Special thanks also to the Italian Red Cross for the valuable cooperation.

In support to the impacted populations and driven by our solidarity mission, the company trusts that this contribution will help the Ukrainian refugees and that this terrible situation will be resolved as soon as possible.  Canossa remains committed in helping the Ukrainian people with dedicated initiatives. For this reason, proceeds from the upcoming Cavallino Classic Modena event in May, as well as the ones form Terre di Canossa in April, will be earmarked to assist those most affected by the crisis.

Canossa, a unique style from far away. We were born in 2011 in Emilia, the only region in the world that inherited its name from a road, the 2200-year-old Roman Consular Road Via Emilia. It’s no surprise that we are mainly focused on driving experiences and automotive in general. But that’s not all. The main objectives of all of our events and activities – even the non-automotive ones – are quality and excellence.
