554 Sustainability Credits have been purchased from the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines National Park and Biosphere Reserve

March 15, 2023: In a conscious attempt to counterbalance CO2 emissions related to their driving events, Canossa has decided to purchase 554 Sustainability Credits from the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines National Park and Biosphere Reserve.

The contribution is a valuable and tangible effort to combat climate change and protect the forests of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, historical and cultural meeting point.

The Sustainability Credit project was conceived and promoted by the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines National Park, the coordinating subject which recognized the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines as a UNESCO MAB (Man and the Biosphere) Biosphere Reserve.

With the clear goal of fostering Apennines forest ecosystems, Canossa has countered the environmental impact of the events taking place between 2015 and 2022 (Terre di Canossa, Modena Cento Ore, Rally Montecarlo-Milano, Cavallino Classic Modena), for a total of 553,87 tons of CO2.

Holder of a UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015 certificate, Canossa shows yet again its commitment to the betterment of its sustainable practices and, more generally, to give ample attention to environmental politics.
